Hillingdon Shopmobility
About Us
Hillingdon Shopmobility is a charity run entirely by volunteers. We hire out scooters, powered wheelchairs, and manual wheelchairs to people with restricted mobility, helping them maintain their independence.
Equipment can be hired for daily use within the Uxbridge shopping area, while travel scooters and manual wheelchairs are also available for extended hire periods.

Tuesday to Friday, 9:45 am to 4:30 pm
Parking
There are plenty of disabled parking bays adjacent to our office on the second floor of The Chimes car park.
If pre-booked, we can also deliver equipment to the Underground Station, Bus Station, Barclays Bus Stop, Tesco Bus Stop, or Dial-a-Ride, and collect it on most days.
Who can use it?
Anyone with a temporary or permanent mobility issue can use our service.
How do I join?
On your first visit, you will need to bring one printed form of identification showing your name and address.
There is a daily charge of £4 for powered equipment and £2 for manual wheelchairs.
Equipment can also be taken away for UK holidays, visits, and other trips. The weekly hire charges are:
• Scooters: £40 per week
• Wheelchairs: £10 per week
